Days 6 & 7 Revisited - KL

Pictures from my home town, most of which won't be that interesting to anyone but my parents, and even they will probably have fallen asleep half way through the Batu Caves pix...

Notable KL landmarks taken from the Hop On / Hop Off Bus

At the National Monument (it was so hot by this point the kids had an "Ephesus" moment and had to seek shelter under the nearest bush).

They're busy ripping up KL's heritage to make way for more hotels and office blocks  - thought we'd better photograph this before it disappears forever (just round the corner from the Selangor Club).

My parents were married in that turret bit in the foreground (I'm sure I never knew that when I lived there)

From the bridge thing which links the two Petronas Towers

George was amused by "strawbelly" flavour.

I was v. excited to see that the A & W was still there after 40 years or so - I'm CONVINCED it's the same one we used to visit...?

One last look at the Petronas Towers just in case you'd forgotten what they looked like.
