Days 8 & 9 Revisited - KL & Cameron Highlands

The saddest series of photos in this blog and of little or no interest to anyone except my parents and sis - our old house in KL, fallen into rack and ruin.

Equally uninteresting to all but the aforementioned people - pics of our local supermarket.  I used to steal orange flavoured chewing gum from Hock Choons until I was caught by my mother and made to apologise.

At the Cameron Highlands Butterfly (and other assorted critters) Farm

At the Smoke House - best cream tea ever (forgot to photograph it!)

View from the top of the hill of our hotel - the tall buildings at the back

I went into paparazzi mode on Lily whilst she was navigating her way across the slippery river boulders and took loads of pics, here's a small(ish) selection

Came back to our room to find Lily's bear Marmite wearing George's hat (now lost forever somewhere in Asia)

  3. Amazing! I hope it was George's hat and not Marmite that's lost in Asia? No 3 looks like something out of "The Heart of Darkness" guess there's lots more of those green snakes in there now. V envious - never got to sample cream tea at the Smokehouse!
    M&D.
