So, whilst we were finishing our fish and chips at the table this evening Kent said: "So, are we keeping a blog of our holidays?"
"No", said I, "the kids were dead set against it when I mooted the idea months ago".
Lily and George both assured me that I had got them completely wrong and that, in fact, they really, really, REALLY wanted to do a blog about our 3 weeks in Asia.
So, here it is, hastily constructed by me in a slightly wine-fuzzed frame of mind.
In 24 hours time we will be in Finland, which is a funny way to start an Asian adventure admittedly, but that's what happens when you decide to fly Finnair.
Excited, a bit...

good luck with understanding those crazy Finns ! ...and the pickled herrings for breakfast malarky ... soon be in warmer climes however - enjoy the whole experience ("getting there is half the fun" , as my father used to say) and take lots of photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martin, don't worry we will take heaps of photos to bore you all rigid with. How we get them onto this blog though I have no idea, might have to wait until we get back to Blighty for that!
